TheatreworksUSA tours its musicals and plays, guest artists and arts--in-education programs nationwide. Our repertoire includes productions that fall into three general categories - history & biography, literary adaptations, and original "issue" shows, such as discrimination, peer-pressure, literacy and substance abuse, among many others.

A Christmas Carol - 'Tis the season for merriment and fun! Catch the holiday spirit with Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit and all the rest in Theatreworks' heartwarming musical based on the Dickens classic. (approximately one-hour in length)
Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (Two Beans Productions) - Laugh and sing along as Alexander wakes up with gum in his hair, trips on a skateboard, and accidentally drops his sweater in the sink -- all before breakfast! Click, Clack, Moo - All day long Farmer Brown hears "click clack moo, clickety clackety moo..." The cows are typing and protesting their working conditions! A hilariously "moo-ving" new musical about compromise, based on the award-winning book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.
Color of Justice, The - A brilliant fighter for human rights and a courageous little girl take on the doctrine of separate but equal. Follow their case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in this gripping drama about Thurgood Marshall's struggle against school segregation, Brown v. Board of Education.

Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (Two Beans Productions) - Nine-year-old Peter Hatcher's life would be sweet if it weren't for Fudge, his toddler terror of a brother. Two Beans Productions presents a hilarious play about sibling rivalry based on Judy Blume's book.
Velveteen Rabbit, The - Margery Williams’ classic tale of a toy bunny who longs to become real comes to life for a whole new generation in Theatreworks USA’s all-new interactive production, especially created for budget-conscious schools. We the People - American Government textbooks come to life in a new musical revue that sets civics lessons to a rockin' beat. Have a blast learning about democracy, elections, the two legislative houses, constitutional amendments and diplomacy, and be inspired to get involved and make a difference.
Yellow Brick Road, The - Click your heels together "tres veces" and take a trip down the yellow brick road in this new English/Spanish musical (featuring contemporary Latin musical styles) based on L. Frank Baum's classic story about a young girl's search for home.
