MANDO ALVARADO (Co-book) is a playwright, screenwriter and an actor from South Texas. His play Post No Bills received its Off-Broadway premiere at Rattlestick Playwright’s Theater in November 2009. His play Splitting Mama was selected to participate at the Black Swan Lab at Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He was a Hispanic-Playwright-in-Residence at INTAR and was a company playwright for Theater 167. His play (o)n the 5:31 which was commissioned for Rising Phoenix Rep's Cino Nights at the Seventh Street Small Stage. He is currently developing Basilica with Rattlestick Playwright's theater and is slated for their 2012 season. He is a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts. Other choreography credits include productions of John Patrick Shanley’s Romantic Poetry (NYS&F), Funny Girl (Actors’ Fund Concert), Miss Saigon (Foothills Theatre), Broadway Bares (editions X-XIV), Junie B. Jones (Associate Choreographer). On Broadway, Robert was the Assistant Choreographer for the 2005 Tony Award winning revival of La Cage Aux Folles and currently the Associate Choreographer for the Broadway, National Tour, Toronto, and Australian productions of Rock of Ages. ROGER HANNA (Scenic Design) recently designed A Little Journey (Mint Theatre), Fallstaff (Mannes Opera), and Fyvush Finkel Live! (Yiddish Theatre). He is currently designing productions directed by Tommy Tune and Nilo Cruz, both produced at the University of Miami. Awards include a Lortel for The Glass Cage and a Drama Desk nomination for Walking Down Broadway. CARL CASELLA (Sound Designer) For more then twenty-five years Carl Casella has worked as a designer and producer for some of New York's busiest studios and theaters . SALOMON LERNER (Orchestrations) is a composer in NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program. He studied Film Scoring at the Berklee College of Music and Composing at the Ars Nova (Caracas). He’s had original compositions performed at Barrington Stage and served as a music director for the 24-Hour Musicals in New York. He has worked professionally as a music director/conductor, a composer for film, TV, and theater, and a record producer and arranger in his native Venezuela. BYRON F. ABENS (Production Stage Manager) joins The Yellow Brick Road having previously stage managed The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Seussical, and Skippyjon Jones for Theatreworks. Off-Broadway credits include Gates of Gold (59E59) and Tales from the Tunnel (Bleecker Street Theatre). Favorite regional credits include Doubt (Kansas City Repertory Theatre), A Little Night Music (Stages St. Louis), and Carmen (Cleveland Opera). Byron holds an MFA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a proud member of AEA since 2004.
