Thanks to the generosity of corporations, foundations, and people like YOU,
Theatreworks will be able to send over 10,000 underserved youth to Free Summer Theatre for FREE!
All performances are at the Lucille Lortel Theatre,
121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker Street and Hudson Street, NYC.
Please note Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School is recommended for ages 5-11.
Beginning May 16, 2016, group leaders of educational and not-for-profit organizations can make reservations by calling 212.627.7373 Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm, or by faxing an order to 800.630.6411. Maximum group size is 75, minimum 15.
Please note: Reservations will not be taken for weekend and evening performances. Order only the EXACT NUMBER OF SEATS YOU WILL NEED. Unused seats will deprive others of a place at the performance! We require 48 HOURS CANCELLATION NOTICE. If we do not receive timely notification, other orders for your organization may not be honored. Please bring enough chaperones to ensure proper supervision. There is no on-site bus parking.
A limited number of free tickets will be made available to individuals each show day at the theatre on a first come, first served basis. Tickets for each day’s performances will be distributed beginning one hour prior to the first performance of the day. Individuals are limited to 4 tickets per adult, per day.
Please note: Reservations cannot be made by the general public. We only accept reservations from not-for-profit and educational organizations. Because reservations are accepted from many summer camps, public distribution tickets are limited for the daytime performances during the week. Availability is better for Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings. Once the public tickets are distributed, any remaining patrons will be admitted at curtain time on a space-available basis. Please note that the performance is recommended for ages 5-11. Strollers are not allowed in the theater. No babies in arms. Please be considerate of fellow audience members. No food or drink is allowed inside the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
